RENOPRO 10 is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and for renal (kidney) protection in patients with diabetes, especially those with diabetic nephropathy. It can also help in reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with chronic kidney disease.
Pharmacology:
RENOPRO 10 contains Enalapril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Enalapril works by inhibiting the enzyme that produces angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. By blocking this enzyme, RENOPRO relaxes blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, and protects the kidneys from damage, especially in diabetic patients.
Dosage:
The usual starting dose of RENOPRO 10 is 1 tablet daily, but the dosage may be adjusted by your doctor based on your condition and response to the medication. Always follow the prescribed dosage and schedule.
Administration:
RENOPRO 10 is taken orally, with or without food. It is recommended to take the medication at the same time each day to help remember.
Interaction:

Side Effects:
Common side effects of RENOPRO 10 include dizziness, headache, fatigue, and a persistent dry cough. Rare but serious side effects may include low blood pressure, kidney dysfunction, and angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, or throat). If you experience severe side effects, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Pregnancy: RENOPRO 10 should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can harm the developing fetus.
