ROSU 20 MG is indicated for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) and dyslipidemia (abnormal fat levels in the blood). It is used to lower low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides while raising high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol. This medication is also prescribed to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and angina in individuals at high risk of heart disease.
Pharmacology:
ROSU 20 MG contains Rosuvastatin, a potent statin that works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme in the liver responsible for the production of cholesterol. By reducing cholesterol production, it lowers the level of LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides while raising HDL (good cholesterol). This reduction in cholesterol levels helps to prevent the buildup of plaque in blood vessels, reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, heart attacks, and strokes.
Dosage:
The usual starting dose for ROSU 20 MG is 20 mg once daily. The dosage may be adjusted based on cholesterol levels and individual patient response. The maximum recommended dose is 40 mg per day. Always follow the dosage prescribed by your healthcare provider for best results.
Administration:
