Description
Clavurox 70 ml Powder for Suspension is an oral antibiotic formulation manufactured by Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh. It combines Cefuroxime Axetil, a second-generation cephalosporin, with Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination enhances the efficacy of Cefuroxime by protecting it from degradation by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain bacteria. Clavurox 70 ml is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute otitis media, acute bacterial maxillary sinusitis, lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, uncomplicated skin and skin-structure infections, uncomplicated urinary tract infections, uncomplicated gonorrhea, and early Lyme disease.
