Description
Levobac TS 1.5% Eye Drop is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial eye infections, including bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, blepharitis, and perioperative prophylaxis in adults and children aged 6 years and older. The recommended dosage for bacterial corneal ulcers involves instilling 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 30 minutes to 2 hours while awake during the first three days, followed by 1–2 drops every 1 to 4 hours while awake until treatment completion. For other infections, dosing schedules may vary. Common side effects include transient blurred vision, ocular discomfort, and photophobia. Levobac TS is contraindicated in individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other quinolones. It is essential to complete the full course of therapy to prevent the development of drug-resistant bacteria.
