Description
Brimo 5 ml is an ophthalmic solution containing 0.2% brimonidine tartrate, manufactured by Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh. It is primarily used to manage ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma by reducing elevated intraocular pressure (IOP). Brimonidine works by decreasing the production of aqueous humor and increasing its outflow, thus lowering IOP. This medication is typically administered as one drop in the affected eye(s) three times daily, approximately 8 hours apart. If multiple eye medications are prescribed, they should be used at least 5 minutes apart to prevent dilution and ensure efficacy.
