RIVAS 3 MG is indicated for the treatment of allergic conditions such as hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), itching, urticaria (hives), and rashes. It is also used for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness.
Pharmacology:
RIVAS 3 MG contains Cetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine that works by blocking histamine receptors. Histamine is a substance released during an allergic reaction that causes symptoms like itching, swelling, and inflammation. By blocking these receptors, Cetirizine alleviates symptoms of allergies and motion sickness. It is less likely to cause drowsiness compared to first-generation antihistamines.
