Edeloss 20/50 is indicated for:
Prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with atrial fibrillation
Prevention of thrombotic events in patients with acute coronary syndrome or after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Management of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) (off-label combination use)
Edoxaban is a direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) that selectively inhibits factor Xa, reducing thrombin generation and clot formation.
Aspirin irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), reducing platelet aggregation.
Together, they provide synergistic anticoagulant and antiplatelet effects.
Dosage varies per patient condition and physician’s prescription
Common dose: 1 tablet once daily
Adjust dose in renal impairment as needed
Take orally with water, with or without food. Take consistently at the same time each day.
Increased bleeding risk with other anticoagulants, antiplatelets, NSAIDs, SSRIs
Interaction with P-glycoprotein inhibitors or inducers (e.g., verapamil, rifampin)
Caution with herbal supplements affecting coagulation
Active pathological bleeding
Severe hypersensitivity to Edoxaban, Aspirin, or excipients
Severe hepatic impairment with coagulopathy
Recent major bleeding or hemorrhagic stroke
Bleeding complications (including gastrointestinal and intracranial bleeding)
Bruising
Gastrointestinal discomfort
Rare: hypersensitivity reactions
Use only if clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor
Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding without medical advice
Monitor for signs of bleeding or unusual bruising
Assess renal and hepatic function before and during treatment
Use caution in elderly patients and those with bleeding disorders
Anticoagulant (Factor Xa Inhibitor) + Antiplatelet Agent
Store below 25°C
Protect from moisture and light
Keep out of reach of children
