Description
Xenogrow 2% Scalp Solution is a topical medication manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., formulated with Minoxidil 2%. It is primarily used to treat androgenic alopecia (pattern hair loss) in both men and women, as well as to stabilize hair loss in patients with alopecia areata. Minoxidil works by stimulating hair growth through vasodilation, which increases blood flow to hair follicles, thereby delivering more oxygen and nutrients. This action prolongs the anagen (growth) phase of hair follicles, promoting hair regrowth.
The solution should be applied externally to a clean, dry scalp. The recommended dosage is 1 mL (7 sprays) applied twice daily, with a total daily dose not exceeding 2 mL. For optimal results, the solution should remain on the scalp for about 4 hours before washing. It is important to avoid massaging the solution into the scalp and not to mix it with hair oils. Consistent use for at least 4 months may be required to observe visible hair growth, and the solution should be used for no less than 45 days to arrest hair fall.
