SolaScren Lotion SPF 28 is a non-greasy, water-resistant sunscreen manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., designed to provide broad-spectrum protection against harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. This lotion combines four active ingredients—Padimate O (8%), Avobenzone (2%), Oxybenzone (3%), and Titanium Dioxide—to effectively shield the skin from both UVA and UVB rays, which can cause sunburn, premature aging, and skin cancers. With a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 28, it offers enhanced defense against UVB-induced sunburn and maintains its protective effect for up to 60 minutes in water. SolaScren is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and is particularly beneficial for individuals with photosensitivity conditions such as solar urticaria, lupus erythematosus, vitiligo, and drug-induced photosensitivity. To achieve optimal results, apply the lotion evenly on the skin 45 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply during prolonged sun exposure, especially after swimming or excessive sweating. It is important to avoid applying the lotion to broken skin and to prevent contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. While generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience mild irritation, such as erythema, burning, or rash, particularly when applied to sensitive or broken skin.
