Description
Nyclobate 60 ml is a topical lotion containing 0.05% clobetasol propionate, a potent corticosteroid manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It is primarily used to treat various inflammatory skin conditions, including psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis), lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus, and other dermatoses unresponsive to less potent steroids. Clobetasol propionate works by reducing inflammation, itching, and redness through vasoconstriction and inhibition of inflammatory mediators. The lotion formulation is particularly suitable for application to the scalp. It is typically applied sparingly to the affected area once or twice daily until improvement occurs, and treatment should not exceed 7 days without medical supervision.
