Osteo-D Max 50 ml is an oral solution manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., containing 2000 IU of cholecalciferol (vitamin D₃) per milliliter. This formulation is designed to address vitamin D deficiency, which is essential for calcium and phosphate absorption, supporting bone health and immune function. Vitamin D₃ is particularly important for individuals with limited sun exposure, dietary insufficiencies, or certain medical conditions that impair vitamin D metabolism. Osteo-D Max is typically administered based on age and deficiency severity: for infants aged 0–1 year, 400 IU daily; for children aged 1–18 years, 600 IU daily; and for vitamin D-deficient patients, higher doses may be prescribed.
