Description
Nystaderm Cream 30 g is a topical antifungal and antibacterial medication produced by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It contains two active ingredients: Nystatin (2%) and Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride (1%). Nystatin is effective against Candida species, making it suitable for treating fungal infections like ringworm, athlete's foot, and infected nappy rash. Chlorhexidine provides broad-spectrum antibacterial action, helping to prevent or treat secondary bacterial infections. The cream is applied externally to the affected area two to three times daily and continued for seven days after the lesions have healed. Common side effects may include skin irritation, redness, or allergic reactions; therefore, it should be used with caution in individuals with known hypersensitivity to its components. Nystaderm Cream is intended for external use only and should be kept out of reach of children.
