Description
T-Cure 2% Cream is a topical antifungal medication manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., containing 2% Naftifine Hydrochloride as its active ingredient. It is indicated for the treatment of superficial skin fungal infections such as interdigital tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis (ringworm), primarily caused by Trichophyton rubrum. T-Cure is a synthetic allylamine antifungal agent that exerts its effect by inhibiting the enzyme squalene 2,3-epoxidase, leading to a decrease in ergosterol synthesis and an accumulation of squalene within fungal cells, disrupting their membrane integrity. The cream should be applied once daily to the affected area and surrounding skin for two weeks. Common side effects include pruritus (itching). It is contraindicated for use in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Naftifine or any component of the formulation.
