Pharmacology:
Pantonix contains Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system of gastric parietal cells, leading to reduced acid production.

Usual adult dose: 20 mg once daily, preferably before meals.
In severe cases, dose may be increased to 40 mg once daily.
Tablets should be swallowed whole and not chewed or crushed.
Interaction:
May interact with drugs like warfarin, digoxin, ketoconazole, and methotrexate. Use caution and monitor when co-administered.
