Indications:
Myolax is indicated for the treatment of muscle spasticity, stiffness, low back pain, cervical spondylosis, and other painful musculoskeletal conditions.
Pharmacology:
Myolax contains Eperisone hydrochloride, a centrally acting muscle relaxant. It works by reducing skeletal muscle tone and improving blood flow to muscles, thereby relieving muscle spasms without causing significant sedation.
Dosage & Administration:
Usual adult dose: 50 mg two to three times daily, or as directed by the physician.
Should be taken after meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Dosage may vary based on severity and patient response.
Interaction:
May interact with other CNS depressants, analgesics, and alcohol. Caution is advised when combining with such agents.
Contraindications:
Known hypersensitivity to Eperisone or any of its components. Contraindicated in patients with muscle weakness disorders like myasthenia gravis.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea, abdominal discomfort, and allergic skin reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation. Not recommended unless clearly necessary and prescribed by a physician.
Precautions & Warnings:
Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if dizziness occurs. Use with caution in elderly patients and those with liver dysfunction.
Therapeutic Class:

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
