Ubilon 2.5 mg is a synthetic steroid hormone manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., containing Tibolone as its active ingredient. Tibolone exhibits estrogenic, progestogenic, and androgenic properties, making it effective in treating menopausal symptoms in postmenopausal women. It alleviates hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and mood disturbances. Additionally, Ubilon helps prevent osteoporosis by improving bone mineral density and reducing the risk of fractures. The recommended dosage is one tablet daily, preferably at the same time each day. Optimal results are typically observed after at least 3 months of continuous use. It is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation and should not be used in individuals with a history of hormone-dependent tumors, cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disorders, active deep vein thrombosis, or severe liver disorders.
