AGGRA 100 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.
Pharmacology:
The active ingredient, Sildenafil Citrate, is a phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor. It increases the levels of cGMP in the penile region by inhibiting PDE-5, leading to smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the penis, facilitating erection during sexual stimulation.
Dosage and Administration:

Dosage: 100 mg taken approximately 30-60 minutes before sexual activity.

Administration: Take orally with water. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours.
Interaction:

Avoid using with nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin) as it may cause severe hypotension.

Use cautiously with antihypertensive medications.

May interact with CYP3A4 inhibitors like ketoconazole, increasing sildenafil levels.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or its components.

Use in patients taking nitrates or nitric oxide donors.

Common: Headache, flushing, dizziness, nasal congestion, and upset stomach.

Not suitable for individuals with severe cardiovascular disorders or recent history of stroke or myocardial infarction.
