BILTIN 60ML Oral Solution is indicated for:-
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients who prefer or require a liquid formulation.

Pharmacology:
BILTIN Oral Solution contains olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks angiotensin II at the AT1 receptor, leading to reduced vasoconstriction and a decrease in blood pressure.
Dosage and Administration:

Adults and Children (above 6 years): Dosage as directed by a physician. Typically, 20 mg equivalent olmesartan medoxomil per day.

Administer orally using a measuring spoon or cup for accuracy. Can be taken with or without food.
Interaction:

Avoid potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics due to hyperkalemia risk.

Use cautiously with NSAIDs, as they may reduce the antihypertensive effect.

May interact with lithium, increasing lithium toxicity risk.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to olmesartan medoxomil or any component of the oral solution.

Severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Pregnancy due to fetal toxicity risk.
Side Effects:

Common: Dizziness, nausea, fatigue.

Rare: Hyperkalemia, renal dysfunction, or severe allergic reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Contraindicated in pregnancy. Should not be used unless necessary in breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings:

Monitor blood pressure regularly for dose adjustments.

Use cautiously in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Do not abruptly discontinue to avoid rebound hypertension.
