Indications:
PRED 5MG is indicated for the management of inflammatory diseases, allergic reactions, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and other autoimmune disorders.
Pharmacology:
Contains Prednisone, a synthetic glucocorticoid that suppresses inflammation and immune response by inhibiting leukocyte migration and cytokine production.
Dosage:
Dosage varies with condition; typically 5 mg daily or as prescribed by the physician. Dose adjustments depend on clinical response.
Administration:
Take orally with food or milk to avoid gastrointestinal irritation. Follow physician’s instructions strictly.
Interaction:
Interacts with NSAIDs, anticoagulants, antidiabetics, vaccines, and certain antibiotics. Careful monitoring needed.
Contraindications:
