Indications:
PIKOS 100 ML is indicated for the relief of hyperacidity, heartburn, indigestion, gastritis, flatulence, and acid reflux. It helps neutralize excess gastric acid and soothes the stomach lining.

Pharmacology:
PIKOS syrup typically contains a combination of antacid ingredients such as Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium Hydroxide, and Simethicone.

Aluminium Hydroxide & Magnesium Hydroxide neutralize stomach acid, providing symptomatic relief from heartburn and gastric discomfort.
Simethicone reduces surface tension of gas bubbles, helping eliminate bloating and flatulence.

Dosage:
Adults: 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 ml) after meals and at bedtime or as directed by the physician.
Children: As prescribed by the doctor.

Administration:
Shake well before use. Take the syrup orally with a measuring spoon or cup. Best taken after meals and before sleeping for maximum effect.

Interaction:
May reduce the absorption of some antibiotics (like tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones) and iron supplements. Take other medicines at least 1–2 hours apart.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment, hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation, or those with intestinal obstruction.

Side Effects:
Generally well tolerated. Mild effects may include nausea, constipation, or diarrhea depending on sensitivity to ingredients.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
