Indications:
Severe eczema
Psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis)
Other inflammatory skin conditions unresponsive to less potent steroids
Pharmacology:
Clobetasol propionate is a highly potent corticosteroid that works by suppressing inflammation and immune responses in the skin. It reduces redness, swelling, and itching associated with various dermatological conditions.
Dosage & Administration:
Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare provider.
Treatment duration should be as short as possible to minimize potential side effects.
Avoid using under occlusive dressings unless instructed by a doctor.
Interaction:
Concurrent use with other topical corticosteroids may increase the risk of side effects.
Use with caution when combined with other medications that affect the skin.
Contraindications:
