Indications:
Olmesta 10mg is prescribed to treat high blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage.
Pharmacology:
Contains Olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels to lower blood pressure.
Dosage:
Typically one 10mg tablet daily, dosage may be adjusted by physician based on patient response.
Administration:
Oral use, can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time daily.
Interaction:
May interact with other antihypertensives, potassium supplements, and NSAIDs. Inform your doctor about all medications.
Contraindications:
Avoid if allergic to Olmesartan, during pregnancy, or severe liver/kidney disease without medical advice.
