AZMASOL REFIL INHALER is indicated for:
Treatment and prevention of bronchospasm in asthma.
Management of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Pharmacology:
AZMASOL contains a short-acting beta-2 agonist that stimulates beta-adrenergic receptors in the airway smooth muscle, leading to relaxation and bronchodilation. This helps improve airflow and alleviate respiratory distress.
Dosage and Administration:
Adults and Children: 1-2 inhalations every 4-6 hours as needed.
Use the inhaler device correctly to ensure optimal delivery of medication.
Shake the inhaler before use and exhale fully before inhaling the dose.
Interaction:
Avoid using with non-selective beta-blockers, which may reduce its efficacy.
Concurrent use with other sympathomimetic drugs may enhance side effects.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any component of the inhaler.
Patients with severe cardiac arrhythmias should use cautiously.
Side Effects:
Common: Tremors, nervousness, headache, throat irritation.
Rare: Palpitations, increased heart rate, or severe allergic reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Generally considered safe during pregnancy; however, consult a healthcare provider before use.
Minimal amounts may pass into breast milk; caution is advised during lactation.
Precautions & Warnings:
Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disorders, hyperthyroidism, or diabetes.

Monitor for signs of paradoxical bronchospasm and discontinue use if this occurs.
