Indications:
Duoliv 10mg Tablet is indicated for:

Management of high cholesterol levels (hypercholesterolemia)

Pharmacology:
Rosuvastatin is a statin that inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol synthesis in the liver. This action decreases LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while slightly increasing HDL cholesterol, improving lipid profiles and reducing cardiovascular risks.

Start with 5-10 mg once daily, adjusted based on lipid levels and therapeutic response. Maximum dose: 40 mg daily.

Take orally with or without food.

Preferably take at the same time each day for consistency.

Interaction:

Avoid combining with cyclosporine, as it may increase Rosuvastatin levels.

Increased risk of myopathy with fibrates or niacin.

Use cautiously with anticoagulants, as it may alter INR levels.
Contraindications:

Active liver disease or unexplained persistent liver enzyme elevations
