Indications:
Ostocal DX is indicated for prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiencies, osteoporosis, and for maintaining healthy bones.
Pharmacology:
Calcium Carbonate provides essential calcium for bone mineralization; Vitamin D3 enhances calcium absorption in the intestines.
Dosage:
Typically, 1-2 tablets daily after meals or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Oral use with water, preferably after food for better absorption.
Interaction:
May interact with corticosteroids, antacids, and certain diuretics; inform your healthcare provider about all medications taken.
Contraindications:
Hypercalcemia, hypersensitivity to ingredients, severe renal impairment.
