Indications:
Tinea pedis (athlete's foot)
Tinea cruris (jock itch)

Pharmacology:
Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators. Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent that inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to cell death.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).
Treatment duration:
Tinea cruris & Tinea corporis: 2 weeks
Tinea pedis: 4 weeks
Use for the prescribed duration; prolonged use may increase the risk of side effects.
Interaction:
No significant drug interactions reported.
Avoid concurrent use with other topical corticosteroids or antifungals unless advised by a doctor.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to betamethasone, clotrimazole, or any component of the ointment.
Not for use in children under 12 years old.
Not for use on the face, mucous membranes, or broken skin unless directed by a doctor.
Side Effects:
Common: Burning, stinging, or irritation at the application site.
Less common: Skin thinning, redness, or peeling.
