Indications:
Norium 10mg is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) to reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems.
Pharmacology:
Contains Olmesartan medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist that relaxes blood vessels to lower blood pressure.
Dosage:
Typically, one 10mg tablet once daily. Dose may be adjusted by the physician based on patient's response.
Administration:
Oral use, with or without food. Take at the same time each day for best results.
Interaction:
May interact with other blood pressure medications, potassium supplements, or NSAIDs. Inform your doctor about all medicines you use.
Contraindications:
Avoid in patients with hypersensitivity to Olmesartan or during pregnancy. Not recommended for severe liver or kidney impairment without medical supervision.
Side Effects:
Dizziness, headache, fatigue, or gastrointestinal discomfort may occur. Seek medical attention if severe reactions occur.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional.
