Indications:
Tamen 500mg is indicated for the treatment of:

Fever (all causes)
-
Headache, toothache, menstrual cramps
-
Musculoskeletal pain, back pain
-
Post-surgical pain
-
Pain due to cold or flu
Pharmacology:
Paracetamol (acetaminophen) acts primarily in the central nervous system, increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes involved in prostaglandin synthesis. It reduces fever through its action on the hypothalamic heat-regulating center. It lacks significant anti-inflammatory activity and is generally well-tolerated.
Dosage & Administration:

Adults and children over 12 years: 500–1000 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed

Maximum: 4 grams/day

Tablets should be taken with or without food and swallowed with water

Do not exceed the recommended dose
Interaction:

Alcohol increases the risk of liver damage
-
May increase the effect of anticoagulants like warfarin with long-term use
-
Should not be used with other paracetamol-containing products
Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to paracetamol

Severe liver impairment or active liver disease
