Indications:
AGGRA 50 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.
Pharmacology:
Sildenafil Citrate, the active ingredient, is a phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor. It increases cGMP levels in the penile tissue by inhibiting PDE-5, allowing smooth muscle relaxation, leading to enhanced blood flow and erection upon sexual stimulation.
Dosage and Administration:

Dosage: 50 mg taken about 30-60 minutes before sexual activity.

Administration: Swallow orally with water. Do not take more than once daily.
Interaction:

Avoid using with nitrates or nitric oxide donors as it can cause severe hypotension.

Use cautiously with medications affecting blood pressure or CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole).
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any component of the formulation.

Concurrent use with nitrates or guanylate cyclase stimulators.
Side Effects:

Common: Headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, dizziness.

Rare: Vision changes, priapism, sudden hearing loss, or severe hypotension.

Precautions & Warnings:

Not recommended for patients with severe cardiovascular conditions.

Seek medical help if experiencing prolonged or painful erection (priapism) lasting over 4 hours.
