Indications:
REELIFE 5/12.5MG is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and related cardiovascular conditions.
Pharmacology:
This tablet combines Amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and Atenolol (a beta-blocker). Amlodipine relaxes and widens blood vessels to improve blood flow, while Atenolol reduces heart rate and workload, helping to lower blood pressure.
Dosage:
Typically, one tablet once daily or as prescribed by the physician. Dosage may vary based on patient response.
Administration:
Take orally with or without food at the same time daily. Follow physician’s directions carefully.
Interaction:
May interact with other antihypertensive drugs, calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, digoxin, and antiarrhythmic agents. Inform your doctor about all medicines you use.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with severe bradycardia, heart block, cardiogenic shock, or known hypersensitivity to components.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, headache, swelling of ankles/feet, and nausea.
