Indications:
Oroxat 20 mg is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric and duodenal ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Pharmacology:
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the final step in gastric acid secretion, thereby reducing acid production in the stomach.
Dosage:
Typically, one 20 mg tablet once daily before a meal or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Oral use, swallow whole with water, preferably before food.
Interaction:
May interact with drugs like warfarin, digoxin, ketoconazole, and others; inform your doctor about all medications.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Rabeprazole or other proton pump inhibitors.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include headache, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and dizziness.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
