Pharmacology:
Danazol, the active component of Danamet, is a synthetic androgen that inhibits gonadotropin secretion from the pituitary gland, suppressing estrogen production and alleviating hormone-dependent conditions.
Dosage and Administration:
Dosage: Typically prescribed in doses of 200-400mg daily, divided into multiple doses, depending on the condition. Adjustments are made based on patient response and physician advice.
Administration: Take orally with a glass of water. Can be taken with or without food.
