Indications
ETORIX 90MG Tablet is indicated for:

Rheumatoid Arthritis: Management of chronic joint inflammation and pain.

Osteoarthritis: Relief from joint stiffness, pain, and swelling.

Acute Pain: Short-term relief of moderate to severe pain, such as post-operative or musculoskeletal pain.

Ankylosing Spondylitis: Reducing inflammation and improving mobility in spinal conditions.
Pharmacology
The active ingredient, Etoricoxib, is a selective COX-2 inhibitor that reduces the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. This specificity helps avoid the gastrointestinal side effects commonly seen with non-selective NSAIDs.
Dosage and Administration

Rheumatoid Arthritis & Osteoarthritis: 90mg once daily, or as directed by a physician.

Acute Pain: 90mg to 120mg once daily for short-term use.

Administration: Take orally with water, with or without food. Follow the physician’s instructions closely.
Interaction

Increased bleeding risk when taken with anticoagulants like warfarin.

Concomitant use with ACE inhibitors or diuretics may impair renal function.

Avoid combining with other NSAIDs to reduce the risk of adverse effects.
Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Etoricoxib or other COX-2 inhibitors.

Active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe liver or kidney impairment.
