Indications:
AMLEVO 2.5MG Tablet is indicated for:

Management of hypertension (high blood pressure).

Treatment of chronic stable angina and vasospastic angina.
Pharmacology:
Amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker, inhibits calcium ion influx into vascular smooth muscle and myocardial cells, resulting in relaxation of blood vessels, reduced vascular resistance, and improved oxygen supply to the heart.
Dosage and Administration:

Adults: 2.5-10 mg once daily, depending on the patient's condition.

Children (6-17 years): 2.5-5 mg once daily.

Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food.

Follow the physician’s instructions for optimal results.

Interaction:

May interact with other antihypertensive agents, enhancing blood pressure-lowering effects.

Grapefruit juice may increase plasma levels of Amlodipine.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Amlodipine or other dihydropyridine derivatives.

Severe hypotension or cardiogenic shock.

Common: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, and ankle swelling.
