AROTIDE 250 Inhaler is indicated for:

Prevention and long-term management of asthma.

Reducing airway inflammation and hypersensitivity in asthma patients.

Managing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in certain cases.
Pharmacology
Fluticasone Propionate is a synthetic corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by inhibiting multiple inflammatory mediators. It works directly in the respiratory tract to decrease airway swelling and irritation.
Dosage and Administration

Standard dose: 1-2 inhalations twice daily, or as prescribed by a physician.

Inhale through the mouthpiece using proper technique.

Rinse mouth with water after use to prevent oral thrush.
Interaction

Avoid concurrent use with systemic corticosteroids without medical advice.

May interact with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors like ketoconazole or ritonavir, increasing systemic exposure.
Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Fluticasone Propionate or any component of the inhaler.

Not for relief of acute asthma attacks (requires a fast-acting bronchodilator).
Side Effects

Common: Hoarseness, oral thrush, or sore throat.
