Indications
GASTID 200ML Suspension is indicated for:

Heartburn and Acid Indigestion: Relief from acid reflux and heartburn.

Gastric Discomfort: Due to excessive stomach acid.

Peptic Ulcers: As part of treatment to reduce acid irritation.
Pharmacology
GASTID contains Aluminum Hydroxide and Magnesium Hydroxide, which are antacids that neutralize stomach acid. Aluminum Hydroxide reduces acidity, while Magnesium Hydroxide prevents constipation by its mild laxative effect.
Dosage and Administration

Dosage:

Adults: 10-20ml 3-4 times daily or as directed by a physician.

Children: Dosage as prescribed by a physician.

Administration: Shake well before use. Take 1-3 hours after meals or at bedtime.
Interaction

May reduce absorption of certain drugs such as tetracyclines, quinolones, and digoxin. Maintain a gap of at least 1-2 hours between medications.
