Pharmacology:
Isosorbide Dinitrate, the active ingredient, is a nitrate that dilates blood vessels by releasing nitric oxide. This action reduces the heart's workload and improves oxygen delivery to cardiac tissues, alleviating chest pain and preventing angina attacks.
