FOLIMAX 5MG Tablet is indicated for:

Folate Deficiency: Treatment and prevention of deficiency due to poor diet, malabsorption, or increased requirements.

Megaloblastic Anemia: Anemia caused by folic acid deficiency.

Pregnancy and Lactation: Prevents neural tube defects and supports healthy fetal growth.

Supplementation: For individuals with increased folic acid requirements.
Pharmacology
Folic Acid is a water-soluble vitamin essential for nucleotide synthesis and amino acid metabolism. It plays a critical role in DNA replication, cell division, and the prevention of neural tube defects in developing fetuses.
