Indications:
Cardobis Plus 5/6.25MG is indicated for the treatment of hypertension in patients requiring combination therapy to achieve better control of blood pressure.
Pharmacology:

Nebivolol (5mg): A beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that decreases heart rate and myocardial contractility, leading to reduced blood pressure.

Hydrochlorothiazide (6.25mg): A diuretic that increases the excretion of sodium and water, reducing blood volume and systemic vascular resistance.
Dosage and Administration:

Standard Dose: One tablet daily, preferably in the morning.

Can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Interaction:

Concurrent use with other antihypertensives may cause excessive hypotension.

Potential interaction with NSAIDs, which may reduce the diuretic effect.

Use caution with medications that affect electrolyte balance.
Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to Nebivolol, Hydrochlorothiazide, or other components of the tablet.

Severe renal or hepatic dysfunction.

Patients with anuria or severe electrolyte imbalance.
Side Effects:

Common: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, mild hypotension.

Rare: Electrolyte disturbances, hyperglycemia, and bradycardia.
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Not recommended during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the fetus.

Should be avoided during breastfeeding due to potential excretion in breast milk.
Precautions & Warnings:

Monitor blood pressure and kidney function regularly.

Use with caution in patients with diabetes, gout, or a history of electrolyte imbalance.

Avoid sudden discontinuation to prevent rebound hypertension.
