Indications:
Indicated for prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency, osteoporosis, and to improve bone strength and immunity.
Pharmacology:
Ostocal Vita Effervescent contains Calcium Carbonate and Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3). Calcium is essential for bone formation and maintenance, while Vitamin D3 enhances intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
Dosage:
1 effervescent tablet daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Dissolve 1 tablet in a glass of water (approximately 200 ml), stir and drink immediately after the fizzing stops. Best taken after meals.
Interaction:
May interact with certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines), antacids, and diuretics. Avoid concurrent high-dose iron or zinc supplements.

Side Effects:
Usually well tolerated. Occasionally, gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, flatulence, or constipation may occur. Long-term high doses can cause hypercalcemia.

Safe under medical supervision. Should not exceed recommended dietary allowance unless advised by a physician.
Precautions & Warnings:
Patients with kidney stones or renal dysfunction should consult a doctor before use. Prolonged use should be monitored with calcium levels.
