Indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, and related mood disturbances by combining the calming effects of Diazepam with the mood-stabilizing properties of Escitalopram.
Diazepam (10mg): A benzodiazepine that enhances GABA activity in the brain, producing a calming effect.
Escitalopram (5mg): A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that increases serotonin levels in the brain, improving mood and reducing anxiety.
Adult Dose: Typically one tablet daily or as prescribed by a physician.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Administration: Take orally with water, preferably at the same time each day, with or without food.
Avoid combining with alcohol, opioids, or other CNS depressants.
May interact with anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and other SSRIs.
Hypersensitivity to Diazepam, Escitalopram, or any component of the tablet.
Severe hepatic or renal impairment.
Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea.
Severe: Respiratory depression, serotonin syndrome, or dependency with prolonged use.
Not recommended during pregnancy due to risks to the fetus.
Avoid during lactation as active ingredients may pass into breast milk.
Prolonged use may lead to dependence; use under strict medical supervision.
Avoid activities requiring mental alertness, such as driving, until the effects are known.
Combination therapy (Benzodiazepine + SSRI).
