Indications:
RIDON FAST 10 MG is indicated for rapid relief of muscle spasms, stiffness, and musculoskeletal pain due to injuries, strains, or neurological disorders.
Pharmacology:
Contains Tizanidine, a central alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that acts quickly to inhibit motor neuron activity, resulting in muscle relaxation.
Dosage:
Recommended dose is 2-4 mg orally every 6-8 hours, as prescribed by the physician. Dose may be adjusted based on patient response.
Administration:
Take orally with or without food. Avoid abrupt discontinuation to prevent rebound spasticity.
Interaction:
May interact with CNS depressants, antihypertensives, ciprofloxacin, fluvoxamine, and other muscle relaxants. Inform your doctor about all medications.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to tizanidine, severe liver impairment, and concurrent use of ciprofloxacin or fluvoxamine.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, hypotension, and fatigue.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and prescribed. Consult healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings:
Monitor blood pressure and liver function during therapy. Exercise caution when performing tasks requiring alertness.
