Dosage and Administration:
Usual Dose: One tablet daily, preferably in the morning.
Dose may be adjusted based on clinical response and patient requirements.

Increased risk of lithium toxicity if used concurrently with lithium.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to losartan, hydrochlorothiazide, or any components.
Severe renal or hepatic impairment.
Anuria (inability to urinate).
Pregnancy due to teratogenic risk.

Rare: Severe hypotension, hyperkalemia, or allergic reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Contraindicated in pregnancy due to risk of fetal harm.
Should be avoided during breastfeeding as both losartan and hydrochlorothiazide can pass into breast milk.
Precautions & Warnings:
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes is recommended.
Use cautiously in patients with a history of gout, electrolyte disturbances, or diabetes.
Avoid alcohol, which can enhance the blood pressure-lowering effect.
