Indications
ETORIX 60MG Tablet is indicated for:

Osteoarthritis: Provides relief from pain, stiffness, and inflammation in joints.

Mild-to-moderate pain: Short-term relief of pain associated with musculoskeletal injuries or dental procedures.

Chronic conditions: Adjunctive therapy for inflammatory conditions requiring COX-2 selective inhibition.
Pharmacology
The active ingredient, Etoricoxib, selectively inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, reducing prostaglandin synthesis involved in inflammation and pain. This selectivity minimizes the gastrointestinal side effects often associated with traditional NSAIDs.
Dosage and Administration

Osteoarthritis: 60mg once daily.

Mild-to-moderate pain: 60mg to be taken once daily, or as prescribed.

Administration: Take orally with water, with or without food. Avoid exceeding the prescribed dose.
Interaction

May potentiate the effects of anticoagulants like warfarin, increasing bleeding risks.

Co-administration with diuretics or ACE inhibitors may impair renal function.

Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs to reduce adverse effects.
Contraindications
