Indications:
Oradin 10mg is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and postoperative recovery.
Pharmacology:
Ondansetron is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist that blocks serotonin receptors involved in triggering nausea and vomiting.
Dosage:
Usually, one 10mg tablet 30 minutes before chemotherapy or surgery, or as prescribed by the physician.
Administration:
Orally with or without food, as directed by the healthcare provider.
Interaction:
May interact with apomorphine, tramadol, and other serotonergic drugs. Inform your doctor about all medications.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Ondansetron or other formulation components.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, constipation, dizziness, and fatigue.
