Indications:
REJOY 7.5MG is indicated for mild to moderate depression, anxiety disorders, and related mood disorders.
Pharmacology:
Contains Fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that enhances serotonin levels in the brain to improve mood and reduce anxiety symptoms.
Dosage:
Typically 7.5 mg once daily or as directed by the physician. Dose may be adjusted according to therapeutic response.
Administration:
Take orally with or without food, preferably in the morning to minimize insomnia risk.
Interaction:
May interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), other antidepressants, anticoagulants, and herbal supplements. Inform your doctor about all medicines being taken.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to fluoxetine, concurrent MAOI use, and patients with certain psychiatric conditions.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and sexual dysfunction. Monitor for serotonin syndrome.
