Indications:
Orogurd 2% cream is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and allergic skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and rashes.
Pharmacology:
Hydrocortisone is a low-potency topical corticosteroid that suppresses inflammatory responses by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators.
Dosage:
Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1-2 times daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Topical application on the skin; avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Interaction:
Minimal systemic absorption; interaction with other topical agents should be avoided unless prescribed.
Contraindications:
Avoid use on infected skin, hypersensitivity to corticosteroids, and on open wounds.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include skin thinning, irritation, redness, and allergic reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly necessary and under medical supervision.
