Indications:
Osticare 500mg is indicated for calcium and vitamin D deficiency, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, and supporting bone health in adults and children.
Pharmacology:
Calcium Carbonate provides essential calcium for bone mineralization. Vitamin D3 enhances calcium absorption from the gastrointestinal tract.
Dosage:
Typically, 1-2 tablets daily with meals or as prescribed by the physician.
Administration:
Oral administration with water, preferably after meals to enhance absorption.
Interaction:
May interact with certain antibiotics, bisphosphonates, and thyroid medications. Inform your healthcare provider about all drugs being taken.
Contraindications:
Hypercalcemia, hypersensitivity to ingredients, and certain kidney conditions.
