Indications:
Ontin 10mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Pharmacology:
Donepezil is a reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor that increases acetylcholine levels in the brain, improving cognitive function.
Dosage:
Typically, one 10mg tablet once daily at bedtime, dosage may be adjusted by the physician.
Administration:
Oral use, preferably at night, with or without food.
Interaction:
May interact with anticholinergic drugs, NSAIDs, and other medications. Inform your doctor of all medicines used.
Contraindications:
Avoid in patients with hypersensitivity to Donepezil or any component of the formulation.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, muscle cramps, and fatigue.
