Indications:
Clarin 500 mg is prescribed for moderate to severe bacterial infections including community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, skin and soft tissue infections, and Helicobacter pylori eradication in combination therapies.
Pharmacology:
Clarithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thus preventing bacterial growth and replication.
Dosage:
The usual adult dose is 500 mg twice daily for 7-14 days depending on infection type and severity. Follow the prescribing doctor’s instructions strictly.
Administration:
Taken orally with or without food. Complete the full course to prevent resistance and recurrence.
Interaction:
